Kaia and Sofia Arvidsson won the doubles semifinal match against Cornet/Parmentier 6:3, 1:6, 10:7at e-Boks Open in Copenhagen.
Kaia’s own words: „When we had fun on court, it went very well for us. In the second set we become more serious, but it did not work for us. It does not suit us, when we take the doubles game too seriously, we just need to play and enjoy it.
As we both play doubles quite seldom, we had a deal, that we take the doubles games as training, to get use to the court and get the feeling of the game and to have fun. As we are more concentrated on singles game, then doubles for us is good opportunity to play a bit different tennis.
We also agreed that in tomorrow’s final we will not start to over think it – just will take it as any other doubles match. Play as we can but also have fun.:)”
